Greeting’s and a very Happy 2023! I am pleased to share that after months of stagnant activity, Collector’s Platoon’s website and accessories shop will be getting an overhaul. This has been a longtime coming and an easier and more efficient way to handle all of your accessories needs.

The Return of the Platoon!

Here we are, in 2021 and have officially completed our first year of the Pandemic. Sadly it seems like only yesterday we had to cancel the two shows that were planned.

As much as it hurt us at the time, it was undoubtedly the right call as we value the safety of everyone. So fast forward one year later, as the Platoon sat waiting for a chance to return, it got us thinking, what can the Platoon do in the meantime.

The answer then hit us like a bolt of lightning. Let’s change things up and give it a new look, new feel, and an opportunity to showcase to you the collectors with a gateway to access the accessories you need and have it shipped directly from Canada.

So, what is new, you might ask? Well, let’s start with the biggie. Collector’s Platoon now has an online shop. Here you will be able to access the accessories that you need at an affordable price. All prices are in Canadian and shipped from Canada.

Second, there are many talented Canadian Podcasters out there that love to demonstrate their passion for the hobby, and we now have a page that will be your listing for what shows are on and where to find them.

Of course, we are waiting to plan a Toronto show again, when it is safe to do so.

Collector’s Platoon Update

Just like that, we are heading into the Fall and what a 2020 this has been. So where do I start? Earlier this year, we were forced to postpone our two Spring shows, at the time it was thought that this would not last long but here we are in September and the world is still on pause…mostly.

Needless to say, this was not what we were anticipating. With that being said, I want to share with everyone that Collector’s Platoon is not going away, we are however going to remain on pause for the remainder of 2020 and start focusing on 2021.

This was not an easy decision, with all of the work that was put into a successful launch, we were hoping for bigger and better things this year, I guess COVID-19 had other plans. There will be some fantastic shows running this year whom we would highly recommend and wish them all nothing but the best. I will definitely share those show details as they become available. Canadian Toycon will be running their show on Sunday September 20th at the Holiday Inn in Burlington. For more information please visit their Facebook page Here.
